I am a qualified English to Czech translator and proofreader living in the UK since 2004. I have many years of experience in translating, proofreading and editing all sorts of texts and documents and offer English to Czech translation, proofreading and revision services of the highest possible quality.

I translate texts and documents from the following specialist areas:
Health care and medical/pharmaceutical texts (especially clinical trials and optometry) Social sciences (history, education, psychology etc.) Environment and ecology Literature

I believe that good translation should read as an original piece of writing. As a former teacher of Czech language and literature I developed an eye for detail and also understanding of different styles in language which I can implement in my translation work.

Furthermore, I live in the country of my source language, and this allows me to be in touch not only with written but also spoken form of English on a daily basis. That eventually means that I am familiar with many forms and nuances of the language and my translations capture not only the exact meaning but also the spirit of the originals.
